Upto 100 mines in a game makes. Good puzzles for the brain.
You are presented with a board of squares, each with a cover. Some squares contain mines under the covers. If you open a square containing a mine, you loose. If you open all squares without mines, you win.
Opening a square which doesn't have a mine reveals the number of neighboring squares contain mines. Use this information plus some guess work to avoid the mines.
To start the game, tap on any of the square. First tap won't trigger the mine.
To open a square, point at the square and long tap on it. To mark/flag a square you think is a mine, just tap on it. If you think you added the flag wrongly, just tap on it once again to remove the flag.
If the squares are too small, pinch in or out to resize the game squares. Pan the squares to move around the zoomed in squares.
The Details:
A squares "neighbors" are the squares adjacent above, below, left, right, and all 4 diagonals. Squares on the sides of the board or in a corner have fewer neighbors. The board does not wrap around the edges.
If you open a square with 0 neighboring mines, all its neighbors will automatically open. This can cause a large area to automatically open.
The squares neighbor counts are color coded: 1=blue, 2=green, 3=red, 4=purple, 5=maroon, 6=blue/green, 7=black, 8=gray.
To remove a mine marker from a square, just tap on it again.
The first square you open is never a mine.
If you mark a mine incorrectly, you will have to correct the mistake before you can win. Incorrect mine marking doesn't kill you, but it can easily lead to mistakes which do.
You don't have to mark all mines to win; you just need to open all non-mine squares.
Press the + button on the top to start new game.
Press the yellow face to open this instructions.
The Status Information:
The upper left corner of the screen contains the number of mines minus the number of marked/flagged squares. At the beginning of a game it is just the number of mines. The number will update as you mark and unmark squares.
The upper right corner of the screen contains a time counter.
Options:
Hint - It removes one marker/flag if it was placed on the tile which does not have the mine. If there are no wrong flags, it adds the flag at a tile which has the mine!
Give up - If you want to exit the current game, tap on give up button and confirm. It will expose entire game.
New Game - When last game is finished already, the 'New' button is displayed to start the new game with same complexity.
