Rules for playing chess for two without the Internet
All chess pieces move differently:
- Pawns can only move to one cell of the chessboard, or to two on the first move. The pawn attacks diagonally.
- The king can move one square in any direction.
- The queen moves in any direction and on a different number of cells (diagonal, vertical, horizontal).
- The rook moves vertically and horizontally.
- The horse gallops with the letter "G", i.e. into two fields vertically and one horizontally.
- The elephant walks diagonally for any distance.
The goal of the game is to checkmate the opponent's king, or to bring it to a draw - stalemate.
We tried to make classic chess in Russian, without the Internet, and without unnecessary options and bells and whistles. What would you feel comfortable and convenient to enjoy the gameplay.
Chess can be played offline (without the Internet), as well as online (with a network connection).
