The game, funded by ESPA 2016-2020 and Region of Ipirus, is an animation game that helps diagnosing early child development communication deficiencies. The game is best played along with biometric wearables, used to collect data about the stress level of the child playing “APSOU” while undergoing several challenges. All data collected is analyzed in the overall platform ecosystem, named SMARTSPEECH. The platform operates an expert system that uses information from a child’s scores while playing the game, its current biometric data, as well as the educational, health and social background. These all contribute to deriving expert diagnosis for several communication deficiencies in kids aged between 4-7.
