Akhaya Women Organization has committed to the promotion of gender equality and women’s empowerment. This commitment is aligned with National Strategic Plan for the advancement of women (2013-2022). Additionally, the welfare and safety of the survivor is paramount for Akhaya, we realized that it is essential to initiate community-based protection mechanism especially for women and children at the community level.
As a kind of protection appliance for safety environment at the community level, Akhaya Women Myanmar introduced “KHAYAR MOBILE APPLICATION” in collaboration with MSDT Company limited for the people when they encounter dangerous situation during the times away from home. At least the KHAYAR application can protect and safe the needy people from any danger situation with immediate response.
