HABIB ALI BIN MUHAMMAD ALHABSYI (Author of Maulid Simtud Duror)
Habib Ali bin Muhammad Alhabsyi was born in the village of Qosam (Hadramaut). His biological father was a great scholar and scholar namely Habib Muhammad bin Husein Alhabsyi born in Seiwun while his mother was also an alim and preacher named Hababah Alawiyah bint Husein bin Ahmad Al-Hadi Al-Jufri born in Syibam. There is an interesting story about Habib Ali's father. At that time Habib Ali's father rented a house for 100 qursy a year. One day the homeowner came to ask for a house rent. Habib Ali's father later said to his brother Habib Ali: "O Ahmad, go upstairs, take the 100 qursyi money in the drawer and bring it here!". Ahmad said to himself "I open the drawer every day and there is no money in it." Ahmad then went upstairs. After opening the drawer and finding nothing, he returned to meet his father "O father the drawer was empty, I found no money there". "You don't see it, Come follow me, I'll show you," said Habib Ali's father. After that they both climbed up and opened the drawer. It turned out that there was a bag containing 100 Qursyi money, "Give the owner of this house money to keep him calm". "O father, we have been quiet from homeowners, but we have absolutely no money to buy food," said Ahmad (Habib Ali's brother). "O my son. He who gives money to pay rent for this house will certainly give us food, "answered Habib Ali's father. Soon there was a letter from Sultan Gholib bin Muhammad along with 100 Qursyi money. Apparently the Sultan was one of the pupils of Habib Ali's father, "O my son, pay attention to how Allah facilitates our sustenance," said Habib Ali's father (Habib Muhammad bin Husein Alhabsyi.
